MASTERMINDS: The Power of Positive Thinking & Mindfulness
O V E R V I E W
We've all been told that we should be keeping a positive attitude at some point in our lives. But we also know that as life takes unexpected twists and turns, that advice becomes increasingly more difficult to heed. So it "practicing positive thinking" just a nice thing we should aspire to.... or nah? This workshop dives into exercising the power of positive thinking. We can absolutely control our destiny and what kind of energy we're attracting and emitting. Participants will explore the ways that mindfulness contributes to good and bad days, and how to keep the power on your side even when you think you're losing. In the workshop, participants will experiment and play with perception, laws of attraction and positive brainwashing. The primary goal is to enhance young people's agency in controlling their attitudes through mindfulness - the beginning of a journey that extends well beyond adolescent years.

- Apply positive thinking strategies to everyday contexts
